Information for Potential Creative Expo Presenters
At the Set Apart Conference we have a time before or after lunch (depending on the chosen lunch time of the attendee) when women visit vendors, have time to relax, visit with each other, make purchases, etc. We would like to provide a Creative Expo during this time—a few tips that can add a special touch to various things we do—things like arranging flowers, wrapping a gift, adding accessories to your outfit, setting a table, etc.. If you would be willing/interested in presenting one of these showcases, please fill out this form as a proposal. The committee will consider the proposals we receive and select three presentations for the conference. We will make these selections by January 17th.
We would like to have each demonstration offered at least 4 times, running 10-20 minutes with time between demonstrations for regrouping, talking to the women, etc. The demonstrations could run 11:10-11:30, 11:50-12:10, 12:30-12:50, and 1:10-1:30. If you feel it would work better to just start a presentation as women come to the table, that is fine, as well, and often does work better. The Creative Expo will be in the lobby of the Billy Graham Community Life Commons. For the specifics of the demonstration we are looking for something simple that women can pick up quickly and use easily. We are not expecting that the women would do this, just learn from watching you.
Set Apart would provide:
$100
Reimbursement of expenses for materials, if approved prior to the event
Booth Space
Lunch (hot lunch after demonstrations or box lunch)
Free admission to the conference to attend sessions before and after the showcase times
Ability to advertise if your business is connected to what you are doing as a demonstration (in our program and at your table)
Sales are not permitted at the Creative Expo tables.
