What if I Don't Have What It Takes?
Heidi Lee Anderson Workshop C | Knight Hall Compared to life’s challenges, we can feel so small. Standing in the darkness of its long shadow, incapable. Unsure how to fix it, lacking resources. One Bible hero not only gets us when we ask, “What if I don’t have what it takes?” but he also shows us one very important truth to remember to help spring us forward in what Christ has for us. In this session, we’ll find the courage, obedience and help we so desperately need in the face of every insecurity to ultimately overcome. |
A Widow's Heart
Pam Lundell Workshop A | Knight Hall Pam is a native Minnesotan and a veteran of Twin Cities radio. After the sudden death of her husband in 2005 Pam was led to Christian broadcasting and the Faith Radio Network and moved to the 98.5 KTIS Morning Show in 2007. Pam says God was amazing in how he took care of her as a young widow and through that experience she has been able to help new widows on their journey through the ministry of Widow Might and her podcast "A Widow's Heart" through the WOWGod podcast network. Pam shares her message of hope and God's amazing love for her when she finally "got out of her own way!" |
Mental Health Matters
Melissa Mork Workshop D | Knight Hall Dr. Mork has been teaching, speaking and podcasting on the topics of mental health, mental illness, and wellness around the country and across the globe for a number of years. The same questions seem to come up: What impacts our mental health and what causes mental illness? What do we do about these mental health issues? How do mental health matters intersect with our faith? These, and other questions, will be answered in this session. |

However, before we engage with others, we are called to first identify and form our own convictions. This workshop will give you tools to identify your own convictions and where they fall on a spectrum ranging from “Confessional Beliefs” to “Guidelines for Conduct,” helping us to learn to “disagree without dividing the church.”
My Kids are His
Teresa Lindahl
Workshop C & D | Totino Fine Arts Center F2211
On January 27, 2011, my 7-year-old son skied head first into a tree at Trollhaugen. The surgeon sawed his skull apart, cauterized a bleeding artery in his brain, and stitched his head back together with 113 stitches. As He carried me through the days, weeks, and years which followed, I learned to trust Him with my kiddos. He who spared not His own Son, spared mine. Can He Who created our children be trusted with our children? Are we parenting our children like they are ours, or His. When my family started skiing the next winter, we did so with faith, not fear. Women will walk away free of the fear which consumes today's parents.
